2026 BRUSH PICK-UP SCHEDULE

Brush should be placed on the edge of the road before the pick-up date scheduled for your area.


SPRING PICK-UP – STARTS:

North of Rt. 64 – 1ST MONDAY IN MAY (5/4)

South of Rt. 64—2ND MONDAY IN MAY (5/10)

Plato in Campton Hills—3RD MONDAY IN MAY (5/17)


FALL PICK-UP – STARTS: 

North of Rt. 64 – 1ST MONDAY IN OCTOBER (10/5)

South of Rt. 64—2ND TUESDAY IN OCTOBER (10/13)

Plato in Campton Hills—3RD MONDAY IN OCTOBER (10/19)

Brush Pickup Guidelines

Biannual Brush Pickup Spring & Fall

Biannual Brush Pickup Spring & Fall

The Biannual Brush Pick Up Program provides residents with scheduled brush collection services each spring and fall. Residents are required to place all brush at the edge of their road the weekend prior to their designated pick-up week. 

 

Note: Weather or holiday events may delay start times. Please check for updates as exact dates will be posted closer to the start of the pick-up period.


· Piles must be manageable by one person.

· Piles should not exceed 18 to 24 inches in height.

· Cut ends of branches should face toward the roadway.

· Branches may be no thicker than 6 inches.

· The maximum acceptable length for branches is 8 feet.

· Piles may be tied together using only string or twine; wire is not permitted.

· Thorny trimmings must be bundled, visibly labeled, and tied with string or twine only.

· Flowers

· Grass clippings

· Heavy logs· Stumps· Leaves

· Lumber

· Plants

· Plastic bags or containers

· Root balls

· Woods Cleanout

If any of these items are included with your brush pile, your brush will receive a Red Tag and will not be picked up.


Red Tag Notices

Brush piles that do not comply with the guidelines will be tagged with a Red Tag. The crew is instructed to tag non-compliant piles with an explanation of the issue. Once tagged, the crew will not return or collect any material that is in violation of the guidelines.
