Current Intergovernmental Agreements
Village of Campton Hills
The Highway District has an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the Village of Campton Hills, currently in effect until 2029. With this agreement, we handle all maintenance of Village roads, including snow plowing. This also includes the southern portion of Plato Township.
Village of Lily Lake
Providing Right-of-Way maintenance for all roadways within the Village of Lily Lake upon request for service, including snow plowing.
Village of Virgil
Providing Right-of-Way maintenance for all roadways within the Village of Virgil upon request for service.
Virgil Township
Providing Right-of-Way maintenance for all roadways within Virgil Township upon request of service.
Blackberry Township
Providing Right-of-Way maintenance for all roadways within Blackberry Township upon request of service.
Mutual Aid Agreement
Campton Township is also involved in a Mutual Aid Agreement with all other Townships within Kane County. We are able to assist other townships in the event of natural disasters and under extreme circumstances.
IPWMAN Membership
Campton Township is also a member of ILLINOIS PUBLIC WORKS MUTUAL AID NETWORK "IPWMAN", which gives us the ability to access and assist any other members of the program with emergency service and allows the township to receive assistance if needed.
